The most usual cause of ignition failure on Worcester boilers is dirt build up on the flame sensing probe. It’s amazing how little dirt can cause this problem. Great video - will help a lot of engineers.

Had a D'Oh!! moment when you explained why the phials need water round the pocket and the Stat won't necessarily "click" unless within their temperature range. Thanks for explaining this and dropping back to oil boilers again.

The PRV cant always twll failed with dripping outside - you can just take pipe off bottom of valve and with pressure; it drips = change prv. If the pressure continues to rise even after what you have done = check filling loop/link isnt passing! ✌️🤟 Legend lad!!

My hot water out of the tap is brownish colour after replacing a radiator and adding inhibitor to the system, do you think it is sludge coming out of the system? Or would you know what it could be. When I run it for a while the water goes near to clear

Thank you! I’ve just used this at my disabled mums house there the top of her cold water tap has come off and was gushing. I turned the water off and did what you said in this video and it’s stopped! OK it’s still going to need a plumber to replace the taps but it’s no longer an emergency call out as there are other bathrooms

There's a good app called EOGB oil nozzle calculater if you dont have the exact nozzle needed. Calculates the required oil pressure to achieve kw output👌🏻

Was thinking issue with the Photocell. Very common on oil. Sight tube out of alighnment = No Photocell. Not 100% on the blueflame boilers, but I know on the standard stuff to run them a little lean to keep them clean around 11% on the co2

Didn’t like the pump gauge jumping around a bit. Could be an issue with the oil.

Nicely done. Every boiler room fit out I fit a 1/2” close tapered nipple with a 1/2” lever valve then the AAV. Makes it that much easier 😂 (no my firm don’t spec that but I do it anyway) 👊 same thing on pig tails w/gauges always pop service valves on them

I’ve replaced 13 caps on a biomass boiler board the other day. Worked well and saved the customer near 4k 👍🏻 All caps failed on the ESR meter but multimeter showed fine just low. So you need to have the rite gear

You got an O ring with a baxi part? They must have been feeling generous! The price for that part was disgusting... you need to get yourself a gopro or a 360 what ever there called. Might take abit more beating..
